Monthly Meeting Schedule
South Hill Planning Commission - First Monday at 7:30 PM (Town Hall Council Chambers)
South Hill Town Council - Second Monday at 7 PM (Town Hall Council Chambers)
South Hill Revitalization Committee - Third Wednesday at noon (Town Hall Conference Room B)
Holiday Schedule
Town Offices and facilities are closed, and some services may be curtailed, on the following holidays:
- New Year's Day - January 1
- Lee-Jackson Day - the Friday preceding the third Monday in January
- Martin Luther King, Jr., Day - the third Monday in January
- George Washington Day - the third Monday in February
- Memorial Day - the last Monday in May
- Independence Day - July 4
- Labor Day - the first Monday in September
- Columbus Day - the second Monday in October
- Veterans Day - November 11
- Thanksgiving Day - the fourth Thursday in November and the Friday next following
- Christmas Day - December 25
Whenever any of such days falls on Saturday, the Friday next preceding such day, or whenever any of such days falls on Sunday, the Monday next following such day, and any day so appointed by the Governor of the Commonwealth or the President of the United States, shall be a legal holiday as to the transaction of all business. Some facilities may experience reduced hours or early closings on the eve of a holiday.
